Bilbao, March.11.2026 – Yesterday we celebrated the 10th edition of our annual conference “Challenges in the Automotive Sector,” organized by ACICAE – Basque Country Automotive Cluster and Expansión, with the collaboration of AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center, one of the most important events for the automotive sector. The day was marked by analysis, debate, and strategic vision on the present and future of the sector.
Manufacturers, component companies, and professionals from the automotive ecosystem shared key perspectives on the major challenges we face: electrification, Europe’s competitiveness vis-à-vis China, European regulation, digitization and data use, sustainability, and the evolution of the value chain.
We would like to thank the more than 200 attendees, as well as the speakers, for their participation and valuable contributions. Their vision and commitment make it possible for this meeting to continue to be a benchmark for the entire automotive sector.
