Bilbao, September, 4th, 2026 – The partnership will bring together the capabilities of 42 Urduliz Bizkaia and AIC Academy to promote technological training, professional specialisation and employability in the Basque Country.

Fundación Telefónica and Fundación AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center have signed a collaboration agreement to jointly promote technological training and employability initiatives, with a particular focus on meeting the talent needs of the automotive and mobility sector.

The agreement will focus primarily on 42 Urduliz Bizkaia, the programming campus promoted by Fundación Telefónica and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, and AIC Academy, AIC’s training centre.

The partnership includes the integration and exchange of training content between both initiatives, as well as the development of specialised programmes, reskilling and upskilling activities, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the connection between professionals, training and companies.

Both organisations will also collaborate on conferences, events and activities related to employment and talent, with the aim of connecting new digital skills with the professional opportunities offered by Basque industry.

This partnership reinforces the commitment to the training and specialisation of new professional profiles, a strategic priority for addressing technological transformation and enhancing the future competitiveness of the automotive and mobility sector in the Basque Country.
