Bilbao, October, 20th, 2026 – Twenty years ago, a project began with a clear vision: to create a space in which to imagine, develop and transform the mobility of the future.
On Friday October, 16th, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of AIC – Automotive Intelligence Centre – alongside those who have made this journey possible. The event highlighted that the future of mobility is already taking shape, with knowledge, technology, industry and talent converging to address the sector’s major challenges.
From drone flights and eVTOL demonstrations to humanoids and advanced robotics solutions, the event gave attendees a glimpse of some of the technologies that are redefining mobility and transforming the way we will move around in the coming years.
But this celebration was much more than just a look at emerging technologies. It also reflected a model of collaboration which, over two decades, has made AIC a meeting point for companies, technology centres, institutions and professionals committed to innovation and industrial competitiveness.
Today, AIC is a mobility ecosystem evolving into the AIC District, an initiative aimed at further expanding this space for collaboration and innovation, where industry, technology and talent converge to drive transformative projects and shape the solutions that will define the mobility of the future.
