Bilbao, April, 23rd, 2026 – ACICAE-Basque Country Automotive Cluster has led a new strategic mission in China aimed at strengthening the international positioning of the Basque automotive sector in one of the most relevant and competitive markets worldwide.
The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with Basque Trade & Investment / Basque Internationalisation Agency and includes a series of meetings with key stakeholders from the Chinese automotive ecosystem, as well as the development of new collaboration opportunities with local manufacturers and companies linked to advanced mobility and automotive technologies.
This action is part of the international strategy that ACICAE has been promoting for years to support companies in the sector through global transformation processes, fostering alliances, facilitating access to new business opportunities and anticipating the trends shaping the future of the industry.
China has become one of the world’s leading hubs for innovation and development in the automotive sector, particularly in areas related to electrification, intelligent vehicles, advanced manufacturing technologies and future mobility solutions.
