Around 6,000 colleagues develop innovative solutions in the areas of aerodynamics, fluid & air management, structural lightweight, battery solutions and precision components – at 35 locations in 17 countries across Europe, Asia, North and South America.
Our vision is “We Drive Sustainable Mobility.” To achieve this goal, Röchling Automotive increasingly focuses on sustainable bioplastics and recyclates, lightweight design and flexible processing solutions. The Röchling-BioBoom® product family, for example, helps conserve fossil resources through the use of bio-based raw materials.
Röchling Automotive combines extensive expertise in plastics processing, product design, function integration and simulation. Our manufacturing capabilities include injection molding and direct compounding, projectile injection technology, compression molding and extrusion blow molding, complemented by secondary processes such as welding and assembly.

We offer solutions in the areas of aerodynamics, fluid & air management, structural lightweight, battery solutions and precision components.
In aerodynamics, active air flap systems ensure less driving resistance, reducing CO₂ emissions and energy consumption. In fluid & air management, thermal management solutions maximize vehicle efficiency, minimize pollutant emissions and improve overall performance.
For electromobility, battery housings and underrun protection plates protect against mechanical stress and fire, seal the battery housing and reduce electromagnetic interference. Lightweight trays made of high-performance plastic make use of free space in electric vehicles – both in the trunk and in the front of the vehicle.
Within Battery Solutions, battery cell frames keep the energy supplier in the right place and support thermal management. Venting systems for the batteries help transport hot gases to the outside and cool them in an emergency.
Precision Components range from microplastic parts to metal-plastic hybrids and complex assemblies, offering highly functional plastic components and forward-looking injection molding solutions for automotive, industrial, medical, defense and household applications.
Röchling Automotive serves around 50 customers across the global automotive industry and works closely with them throughout the development process. Through strong partnerships and joint research projects, our customers become an integral part of our development work.
This close collaboration enables us to understand individual requirements, evaluate feasibility and jointly develop tailored solutions down to the last detail.
