AKT Plasticos in Amorebieta in the vicinity of Bilbao/Spain is a 100% subsidiary of AKT altmärker Kunststoff-Technik GmbH, Gardelegen / Alemania. The headquarter in Gardelegen also accommodates the technical and development centre for the whole group. In addition to the production facilities in Spain and Germany, the AKT Group has also production facilities in the Czech Republic and Mexico. The AKT Plasticos plant was established and went into operation in the year 2001. At present, AKT Plasticos has around 100 employees. The plant meets all the requirements of ISO TS 19649 and ISO 14001:2004.The production means include 17 injection moulding machines from 35 t up to 800 t clamping pressure. In the near future there will also a 1.300 t injection machine available. Above all, we produce here seating covers for PQ 24/25 seats, motor covers and headliner components. The assembly and welding of some parts, such as drawers or inner-space coverings, is also catered for at this site. AKT Plasticos is an audited supplier of VW, Seat, Opel, Faurecia, JCI Eurosit, Intier, Rinder and Grupo Antolin.

Thanks to our highly diverse production and finishing processes, we at AKT Group can offer a very broad range of products. Alongside the straightforward plastic injection moulding component parts, we offer numerous products that have been further refined through finishing processes. We are able to deliver painted parts, flocked parts or low-pressure back injection moulding parts as well as complex constructions.

AKT Group offers thermoplastic injection moulding using machines ranging from 350 KN up to 22.000 KN employing the following special processes: multi-component injection; internal gas pressure injection moulding and textile injection. AKT can give a paint-coating to all plastic parts, from the straightforward to 3-D parts. Individual parts we can refine by hand paint-coating, large batches on our enamelling machines. Parts which are to contribute to acoustic insulation are flocked. The foaming is employed to seal interior components securely against humidity and dust. For this process we use foam sealant in a liquid two-component system on a polyurethane basis.
