ACICAE welcomes 16 new members in 2009

Bilbao, 28.12.2009–– In its ongoing bid to attract the most active players in the region’s automotive industry, Basque automotive cluster ACICAE welcomed 16 new members into the fold in 2009.  The recent arrival of seven companies took ACICAE membership close to the 110 mark. The newest members are:

 

ASENTA MANAGEMENT CONSULTING

With its head offices in Bilbao (Vizcaya), Asenta MC is successor to Bekaert Consulting. The company’s mission is to provide consultancy services, training and the introduction of robust, lasting management methods based on excellence to improve business competitiveness. Asenta also has offices in Madrid and Barcelona.

AZOL-GAS

In business since 1982, AZOL-GAS works from the Jundiz industrial estate in Alava and concentrates on producing nitrogen gas springs in response to industrial die, mold and stamping requirements.

GOIALDE COMPONENTS

Based in Cestona, Guipúzcoa, Goialde Components machines precision components for the automotive industry.

IK4 RESEARCH ALLIANCE

IK4 Research Alliance is a regional alliance of the CEIT, CIDETEC, GAIKER, IDEKO, IKERLAN, TEKNIKER and VICOMTECH technology centers. With a long record of working for the industry, Ik4 focuses on areas of basic and applied research.

INDUSTRIAS ALGA

From its factory in Abadiano, Vizcaya, Industrias Alga specializes in the production of cogs, shrouds for truck rear axle shafts and inertia steering wheels for the automotive industry, and also makes valve inserts.

PIXEL SISTEMAS

Located in Elgoibar (Guipúzcoa) Pixel Sistemas is a computer solutions provider in industrial design with nearly 15 years’ experience in the business. Its main product is the design tool Solid Edge, with a current portfolio of 600-plus licenses, most of them in firms working in the automotive industry.

VIZCAINA DE BANDAJES Y CARRETILLAS (VIBACAR)

Located in Gordejuela (Vizcaya), Vibacar works in warehouse logistics for industrial firms. Besides selling, repairing and maintaining forklift trucks, stackers and hand pallet trucks, Vibacar offers industrial firms services and assessment on optimizing warehouses and internal logistics.
